Who we are

This policy describes how Apps Made With AI (Florida, United States) collects and uses personal information when you visit this website or use Apps Made With AI.

The short version

We store what is needed to build and publish your apps, and nothing else. We do not host your website, we do not sit between your app and your users, and we never see your customers’ traffic. We do not sell personal information.

What we collect

• Account details — name, email address, organisation name.
• The website address you submit, and the public information we read from it: title, description, icons, colours, manifest and navigation links.
• App configuration — the choices you make in the wizard, stored as an immutable version history so a rejected build can be compared with one that passed.
• Build records — status, duration, logs and the resulting binaries.
• Developer credentials — your App Store Connect API key, Google Play service account and Android signing keystore.
• Billing information — processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

We use this information to operate your account, run builds and store submissions you request, bill for paid plans, send service email, and improve the product. We do not use it for advertising.

How credentials are protected

Credentials are encrypted with a key unique to your organisation, which is itself encrypted by a master key held separately. Each encrypted record is cryptographically bound to your organisation, so a record removed from our database cannot be decrypted elsewhere. Secret values are redacted at the logging layer rather than case by case, and we display only a short fingerprint in the interface — never the credential itself.

You can delete any credential at any time, which removes it permanently.

What we do not collect

• Your website’s traffic, analytics or customer data. The app talks to your servers directly; we are not in that path.
• The contents of pages behind a login on your site.
• Anything from the devices your app is installed on.

Your app’s users

Apps built with Apps Made With AI load your website, so your own privacy policy governs what happens inside them. If you enable push notifications, device tokens are processed to deliver the messages you send. If you enable camera, photo library or location access, those are handled entirely on the device by the operating system — the data does not reach us.

Cookies and similar storage

This site stores a theme preference on your device so dark or light mode survives a reload. The product application uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not set advertising cookies.

We use Umami, a privacy-respecting analytics service, to understand which pages are used. It does not set cookies and does not collect personal identifiers. Page views are sent to our analytics host so we can improve the product.

We send crash reports to Bugsink, a self-hosted error tracker that speaks the Sentry protocol. Reports are stripped of secrets, cookies, request bodies and personal identifiers before they leave our servers. We do not record session replays.

Sharing

We share data with infrastructure providers strictly as needed to run the service: hosting, build runners, object storage, email delivery, payment processing, privacy-respecting analytics and error tracking. We transmit your credentials to Apple and Google when performing a submission you requested. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Retention

Account and configuration data is retained while your account is open. Build artifacts and logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted. On account deletion we remove your data, including all credentials; audit records may be retained where we are legally required to keep them.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, export of or deletion of your personal data by writing to hello@appsmadewithai.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under US state privacy laws (including California’s CCPA/CPRA), the GDPR or UK GDPR. We will honour a valid request without discriminating against you for exercising those rights.

If you are a Florida resident and a Florida privacy law applies to our processing of your data, you may also have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, to access or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. We do not sell or share personal data as those terms are defined in those laws.

Children

Apps Made With AI is a business service. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way we will update the date above and, where required, notify the email address on your account.
